February 2, 2013 -- Organizational Meeting of CP Reformed Church, Inc. held
February 15, 2013 -- Filed new Corporation name (CP Reformed Church, Inc.) with Idaho Secretary of State
March 17, 2013 -- A little over 73% of our congregation voted to leave the PC(USA) denomination
September 9, 2016 -- Negotiation Team settled litigation by agreeing to transfer Boone Church property to PC(USA)
October 9, 2016 -- Our last service at Boone
October 16, 2016 -- Our first service at Caldwell Seventh Day Adventist Church
November 1, 2016 -- Entered into three year lease with Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church of former school building
November 30, 2016 -- Began extensive remodeling project of former school building to create worship space,
classrooms, fellowship hall and offices
March 1, 2017 -- Held Ash Wednesday service in new church
March 5, 2017 -- Held first worship (blended) service in new church
August 20, 2017 -- Last service preached by Aaron Beaty who became Pastor of Peace Memorial Presbyterian
Church (EPC) in Klamath Falls, Oregon
August 27, 2017 -- Ehud Garcia was in the pulpit as a candidate for Interim Pastor
September 24, 2017 -- Ehud Garcia assumed the position of Interim Pastor of Caldwell Presbyterian Church
January 20, 2019 -- David Moody was approved unanimously by the congregation to serve as our second full-time pastor
March 24, 2019 -- David Moody assumed the position as Pastor of Caldwell Presbyterian Church (EPC)
May 12, 2019 -- Commitment Sunday -- to receive pledges and gifts for our next facility
July 7, 2019 -- Congregation unanimously approved the purchase of our current facility for $777,000
July 11, 2019 -- Kent Marmon signed Purchase Agreement on behalf of CPC for the purchase of the property
July 30, 2019 -- David Moody officially installed as Pastor of Caldwell Presbyterian Church (EPC)
October 1, 2019 -- Kent Marmon and Carol Ann Waddell signed the paperwork "closing" the purchase of the
entire block of property including our current facility
November 22, 2019 -- Celebration Dinner
January 26, 2020 -- Congregation voted unanimously to adopt the new name Christ Community Church (EPC)
March 2020 -- Like most churches across the United States, we temporarily ceased in-church activities due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We began pre-recording worship services and providing links by email, on our Facebook pages and on our website. Family EMails were sent out almost daily for over eighty days.
June 7, 2020 -- We returned to worship at the church with the first Traditional service held after about 80 days of closure. We had 47 of our church family in attendance.
June 14, 2020 -- Our first Communion since the shut-down -- practicing physical distancing. This service was led by the Praise Team.
December 31, 2020 -- We have reduced the principal on our property loan by 68.712% since the loan was originated on October 1, 2019, leaving a balance of $86,042.58 and reducing the payoff from a 30-year loan to just over five years, saving over $154,000 in interest.
April 27, 2022 --Corporation President Kent Marmon and Treasurer Carol Ann Waddell went to Northwest Christian Crediut Union and made the final payment on the thirty-year $275,000 loan after only two years and seven months, which saved us over $170,000 in interest payments. Our church is now financially debt free!
