VBS chair Bernie Hoover, along with our Christian Nurture Committee, chaired by Debbie Lenington, are pleased to provide recommendations for some special Christian programs available for kids.

The first program is called Lifeway Kids at Home, which is a program to help parents and kids at home. This is a free curriculum with videos and activities to download for children ages first to sixth  grade. The is also a preschool curriculum available. LifeWay is offering this for free during the Coronavirus pandemic.

LifeWay Kids at Home

“LifeWay Kids at Home” is designed to help families conduct kids’ Bible Studies at home during seasons when their church must temporarily cancel regular meetings. Each session includes an easy-to-facilitate media-driven experience that features a Bible study video, life application videos and down-loadable activity pages and family discussion guides. The resource also includes a missions moment and a Gospel presentation video. So, once you’re in “LifeWay Kids at Home,”

1.Watch the Intro video, After the video, click the BACK button in your browser to return to the main menu (or swipe left on your phone).

2.Get the Downloads at the top right of this page: print out the Activity Page and one Conversation Guide.

3.Gather your family around your computer or mobile device. Open your Bible to the Scripture passage on the One Conversation page.

4.Watch the video portion together as a family.

5.Talk about the story and the topic of the week with your family. Ask open-ended questions. Share your insights and encourage your kids to talk.

"Greatest Journey" Bible Game App for kids!

There is a Bible Game app available for kids through Samaritan’s Purse.
