I found the news about Nampa's School Superintendent very interesting. She says that the divisions in thinking between her and the new School Board members (who were elected on a platform of being anti-CRT and in allowing more parental involvement in student education) was just something she couldn't accept. I know that things have been steadily changing in regard to what some (especially school administrators and teacher unions) believe the role of a School Board is supposed to be -- but, let me assure you that the School Board and Patrons are supposed to be "in charge" of school districts. They, the elected officials, are the folks who are accountable to the Patrons (parents), and as such, the Superintendent works for them -- not the other way around. I don't know how anyone allowed the change to happen.
